I have lived and worked in the White Mountains since 1978 not only do I love the beauty of the landscape (with the trees, lakes, mountains and meadows). The wild life is amazing, I never know what kind of animal I might see, even in my own backyard. My husband and I have raised our five children here and now enjoying watching our six grandchildren growing up here. You couldn't ask for better schools and the majority of the people I've met the last 34 year are so friendly and kind. I love helping them find that special spot to lay roots, hope they will always love it a much as I do.
Joyce has lived in the White Mountains with her husband of 40 years since 1978. They raised their family and Joyce decided to pursue her dream to sell real estate professionally. Her friends will tell you that this was a perfect fit for her a she has been connecting people with dream homes in one way or another forever.
One of her favorite real estate stories was once she got a phone call from a prospective seller. She asked him how he came upon her number and he said he had seen her ad in one of the local real estate magazines and that she looked liked someone who knew what they were doing. She proceeded to put his home on the market and successfully sold it not long after that.
Call Joyce for all your real estate needs. She is enthusiastic and passionate about her work. She is willing to give you good decorating ideas with that new home as well.

My background prior to becoming a Realtor, consisted of working for IBM for 30 years in San Jose, California and Tucson, Arizona. I helped open the IBM plant in 1978 in Tucson and became a development engineer working on tape storage products. I retired in June 1993 in Tucson and went right into real estate school that year.
After getting licensed I went to work for a Long Realty in Tucson and became a Senior Associate Broker, and stayed with them until 2005. I was very active selling real estate in Tucson and I specialized in residential and land sales and I also did some commercial sales during that time.
In my first two years in real estate I graduated from the prestigious Realtors Institute (GRI) and also received the coveted designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).
My heart has always been in the mountains as my wife and I were raised in a mountain community in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, so it was natural for us to gravitate to the White Mountain area. We start coming here many years ago and in 1999 bought a place in Pinetop. We came here at least 1 week every month to spend time enjoying the fishing and beauty of the area. In 2005 we decided to move to the White Mountains permanently to work, play and raise our grandchildren.
When I first moved here in 2005 I managing a real estate office in Pinetop for Long Realty and after awhile decided to go back into sales. I work in sales for a few years and decided to accept a position as Designated Broker for Madico Real Estate in Lakeside. I enjoyed that position very much and when that company closed it doors I went to work for Ashley Realty. I stayed with them until the broker/owner decided to retire.
In March of 2014 I was lucky enough to meet a wonderful Broker at Cedar Ridge Real Estate and decided to go to work for her as a Branch Manager for the Pinetop office and have been there ever since.
